Eden Hazard breaks silence on Real Madrid future as Chelsea told transfer stance amid fresh hope
Chelsea fans have been waiting for Eden Hazard to return to Stamford Bridge, and the Belgian has stated his desire to play for Real Madrid.
Chelsea’s next manager will be announced in the following days, pending a final decision
Eden Hazard has declared that he intends to stay at Real Madrid until the end of his contract, shutting out a departure in the summer. The 32-year-old forward’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu is becoming increasingly questionable, with his contract scheduled to expire at the end of next season.
Unfortunately for Hazard, his time in Madrid has been marred by injuries, and he hasn’t had the intended impact since his record-breaking move from Chelsea four years ago. As a result, even when fully healthy, Belgium international has failed to displace Vinicius Junior or Marco Asensio from the starting lineup.

Speaking to Cadena Cope following Los Blancos’ 2-1 Copa del Rey final victory against Osasuna, the Belgian revealed his ambitions for next season. “I hope to play,” Hazard stated. It’s been a challenging year, but it’s been a year with a huge club.
“I get along well with the coach and the players.” I want to play, but I know it will be difficult. All I have to do now is work and hope to play more.”
Hazard stated his wish to stay at Real Madrid to Belgian broadcaster RTBF in March. “I would like to stay,” the former Chelsea player remarked. “I’ve always said it.”I’m hoping to play to demonstrate that I can still do it. It’s natural for people to have reservations. I’m pretty sure I get it. But I’ll still be here next year. “You never know, but a transfer isn’t in the cards.”What could persuade me to reconsider? I’m not sure. I can’t stop thinking about playing. That’s why I don’t even consider leaving. ‘I can give something,’ I think deep inside. That’s all I have to say. People will trust me again if I provide a bit. They may persuade themselves that leaving me out was a mistake. “All I need are a few minutes in my legs.”
